The Werewolf Politician

“Those fools will be sorry that they voted me into office,” Marc said as he began to change. His shirt began to tear, and his buttons popped off, one by one.

He howled as the claws pierced the fleshy pads of his fingers.

He stared into the splintered mirror that hung within the abandoned building.

“I am the one who started the drug epidemic. I paid off the doctors to prescribe opioids for every ache, and pain. I gave them an unending supply of money, so I could keep my fridge stocked up.”

He looked into the sky, and howled. “It’s time to feed.”

He slipped into the alley way known as the “Opium Den.”

He found a scrawny guy, and a tattooed woman passed out with needles in their arm.

He dragged them back to the old warehouse, and devoured them. Then he threw the remains into a deep freezer.

Marc awoke in his penthouse apartment. He felt like he had a hangover. “Damn, full moon! I must have had another transformation.”

He cursed loudly after he broke his toe from tripping over a toy rocket. He felt sick to his stomach. “Maybe, I’ve gone too far. Kids are losing their lives due to this epidemic…”

Tales From the Bathroom

Walter woke up disoriented. “How long have I been asleep?” he muttered to himself.

His head was in a fog. He peeled the thin blanket off of him. “How long is this heatwave going to last?” he groaned.

He felt his stomach churning. “Have I even eaten?” he wondered. “What did I even eat?”

He had no idea what time it was. He could usually tell by looking at they sky to consult the sundial. The sky was overcast, and all he could see was a crescent moon.

His stomach began to cramp, and he ran to the outhouse.

Walter sat down to defecate. He couldn’t hear the sound of footsteps, and branches snapping behind him, because he was having such a stomachache. He assumed the loud growling was from his stomach.

Walter screamed as his outhouse was knocked over. The last thing he ever saw was a huge humanoid wolf with glowing red eyes, plucking him out of his wooden shelter. Unfortunately, Walter didn’t realize that part of the moon was obscured by clouds.

Outhouses now have crescent moons carved into them as a precaution. Make sure you’re aware of what phase the moon is in before heading out to the bathroom!!!

Monsters Among Us

The first election in Transylvania caused a great deal of confusion.

Vladimir Blackfire of the vampire party requested the election be done at night.

Charles Bendveil of the werewolf party requested that the election needed to be held at a full moon.

Both parties consulted with their occult advisor to make sure the election would be fair.

On the evening of the election, a hooded figure in a black robe appeared. He knelt down in the graveyard, and began to chant. Soon the whole cemetery was enveloped in fog. When the fog lifted, the graves began to levitate, and an invisible hand began to chisel the words “vampire,” or “werewolf” into each tomb.

The headstones lowered, followed by the lethargic grunts of the undead. “The vote has been cast.”
