I Feel Your Pain

Holidays can be difficult for some people. It’s even worse when you have to spend the holidays alone. I want to offer a word of encouragement for anyone in that situation. Be kind to yourself today, and immerse yourself in activities, and food you enjoy.

There will be no Thanksgiving in my household. My fiancee is too ill to cook. I expect him to return to the hospital within the next 24 hours. We’ve been arguing since last evening. I’ve been crying since last night. I can’t let my depression consume me, or I’ll end up in the hospital. I’m been scheduling activities to keep myself busy. I found a book that I’ve been wanting to read. I plan on blogging. I’ll be writing poetry. I’ll also be playing “Dungeons and Dragons.”

I’d like to reach out, and give a hug to anyone spending the holidays alone. I feel your pain, friend.
